The workshop
A small workshop in Cranbourne
Immaculate Bouquets began the way most small things do — with someone deciding that the way it was usually done wasn’t quite good enough.
Fresh flowers are wonderful for about five days. After that they’re a chore: water to change, stems to trim, petals on the table, and eventually a bin. For a gift meant to mark something — an anniversary, a thank-you, a funeral — five days always felt short.
Soap flowers solve that, but most of the ones you can buy are stamped out by machine and look it. Flat petals, a chemical smell, obviously fake from across the room. That gap is where this business sits.
Every bloom that leaves this workshop is cut, warmed, curled and set by hand. It is slow. A Petal Paradise is about three hours. But it means the petals have real depth and movement, the fragrance lives in the flower rather than being sprayed on the outside, and that faint dewy sheen — the glycerin — makes people pick one up to check.
Why you don’t pick the flowers
Because everything is made by hand, from whatever is best in the workshop that week, a fixed catalogue of designs would be a promise Sharon could not honestly keep. So the shop asks for the two things that genuinely matter to you — how big it should be, and what colours — and leaves the rest to the florist. That is how it works when you walk into a flower shop, and it is the only arrangement under which every bouquet gets her full judgement rather than a template.
It also means the person who made your bouquet is the person who answers your email. If something arrives damaged or isn’t what you pictured, you are not filling in a form for a support queue. You’re writing to Sharon Spaull, and it gets sorted.
Local first, Australia next
For now, deliveries are hand-driven around Cranbourne & surrounds — 36 suburbs and growing. Doing it this way means bouquets arrive exactly as they left, and it keeps the business honest about what it can promise.
Australia-wide postage is the next step. Soap flowers need no water and won't wilt in a parcel, so posting them is genuinely viable in a way fresh flowers never quite are. Join the mailing list at the bottom of any page and you'll hear the week it opens.
What we promise
Three things, and we mean them
Made after you order
Nothing is pulled from a shelf. Your bouquet is built once you've paid for it, which is why it arrives at full fragrance rather than half-faded.
Honest about what it is
These are soap, not flowers. We say so everywhere, including on the care card in the box. Nobody should have to guess.
Remade if it arrives wrong
Send a photo. If it's damaged or not what was ordered, it gets remade and redelivered. No restocking fees, no negotiation.
